How To Cook Prime Rib

How To Cook Prime Rib

Ingredients

  • A prime rib roast (3-4 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano, etc)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F.
  2. Pat your prime rib dry with paper towels and rub it with the olive oil.
  3. Generously season the prime rib with salt and pepper.

  • For a crispier crust, increase the oven temperature to 450°F for the last 10 minutes of cooking.
